The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

Good weather reports and we’ll be on the grass for the feature; an allowance event for three-year-olds and up and the form says it should come down to the two favorites. Then what fun would that be?

But we believe there’s an in-form four-year-old who can handle solid fractions, finish, and the real attraction are early line odds of 6-1. Further she’s in the great grass hands of Jose Ferrer and Dennis Ward, as stated here just recently, is enjoying a terrific meet.

‘Rosie’ has really come into her own and her last was a career best as she crushed $16,000 restricted N2L claimers. Of course she’s meeting tougher here but we like the confidence Ward is showing in his miss and the odds should be more than fair on the raise.

Taking Extravagant Rosie to win at 4-1 or greater, key-boxing exactas with 3-year-old Successful Legacy (5-2), a dual winner over the course and trip, and getting six pounds from her main rivals for white hot Gerald Bennett and older Global Brand (3-1) accustomed to tougher for Tom Proctor and may hold a class edge.
