GOING GULFSTREAM-MAR 26

Of the two listed turf sprint stakes, Going Gulfstream has chosen the Melody of Colors for fillies based on the fact that the field is larger than the Texas Glitter for males and that there are potentially interesting vertical players.

The most probable winner appears to be Mystic Eyes (3-1) making her three-year-old debut, as she arguably is the most accomplished, a worthy (4) 2-1-1 slate including a stakes score at Belmont Park.

We drawn with Javier Castellano, her pace figures towers over her rivals and Todd Pletcher doubtlessly have her fit. Even at less than 100% she should handle this group box to wire with the added maturity.

Rusty Arnold thought enough of Artos (10-1) to send her to Ascot at 2. Last Leaf (15-1) has the most experience and conditioning vs. better and boasts a sharp blowout for this; could benefit from a pace meltdown. Cardio Princess (8-1) shows 11 works, won at the trip on debut and exits the key Natalma Stakes. Getting the picture.

Calling for Mystic Eyes to win this, but check out the Going Gulfstream Video on interesting price shot Last Leaf in the G3 Herecomesthebride last out, Gulfstream Park, MAR 5, Race 13, a better than looked fourth.

Check back later for the vertical grid in the featured Tote Busters value section on the home page as we go on to scout the doings at Tampa Bay Downs
