The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

THIS B.U.D’s FOR YOU

By Marc Lawrence, PlaybookSports.com — BUDs, as in Bug Ugly Dogs — We nailed Detroit on Monday night and another pooch dresses up tonight when Oakland sends JP Sears to the hill against Domingo German and the Yankees.

With Sears sporting a 2.08 ERA and a 0.89 WHIP in his last seven starts, along with one walk and 20 strikeouts in his last three efforts, and German toting a 6.00 ERA and a 1.46 WHIP in his last seven starts, you can be sure I’ll be howling at the moon with the A’s tonight.
