CANADA GETS IT ON DRUG

By Newswriter — The new Canadian withdrawal time for clenbuterol is now double the model rule of 14 days recommended by the Association of Racing Commissioners International.

It is due to go into effect May 1 for Canadian racing. Woodbine has postponed its April 18 opening of the 2020 season because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

News of the new regulation was announced on Saturday in a Tweet by CEO of Woodbine Entertainment, Jim Lawson
