First Race
1 TUXEDO BAY – Needs to get back to that form we saw in April. Remember, they are not machines and don’t stay gooc forever. The pole here provides Mark S with plenty of options. He won’t want to be too far away from the favorite.
2 LATE MAIL N – It’s been a tough go for this guy in this GSY2 level. Maybe he deserves a drop? I think so. I’ll wait.
3 NOME HANOVER – He’s another one that’s found this higher level a tad too much lately. I do see that he switches to Bob K tonight and he’s one of the more capable and experienced pilots for this series. Could step it up here.
4 TJ BLAST – Just when I thought TJ was tailing off a touch, Tony V gave him a different kind of trip last week and it worked. You can’t cut every mile, so sometimes those helmet trips help out. Let’s see what they do tonight.
5 WINDSONG JACK – Did not enjoy a particularly successful first foray into the GSY. Okay. You can always bounce back. Gets a few slots inside the big fave, so that might help. His weapon is speed, but I’m sure he could follow if necessary.
6 CHEYENNE RYAN LEE – Closed out the Freehold meet with a gutsy and game score. Nice to him remain in solid and steady form for a while. This is a tough spot, folks! Stuck between the main powers. Mr. Ahle gets along. Needs trip.
7 HURRIKANE GEORGIE – Georgie has been rock solid and razor sharp too! Took advantage of those weaker spots and just crushed ‘em! I really don’t see why he can’t do it again. I don’t even care about the outer post. Looks best to me.

Race 2
1 ACES ROCK – It’s amazing what post relief can do down at The Hold. Was 31-1 from post seven two starts back and got nothing. Was pounded to 3-5 from the rail and won easily. Crazy game this is, sometimes. Back to Club Med now.
2 TIDAL SHARK – Been picking up some checks lately, so I guess that’s a good thing when you go off at long odds. I don’t like to see that scratch, but I do like the inner post. Will just sit, save ground and try to get lucky late.
3 BUNGALOW BILL N – All things considered, he’s doing okay and earning his keep lately. Owns key inside speed, vs. the outside favorites. That should work out for a decent stalking trip. Can be part of this again.
4 OUR THIRD ROCK – No real factor last few, so let’s just keep him on the longshot list for a while longer. Needs more.
5 ARTIFACT HANOVER – Barn’s been sending him around the Empire State and picking their spots. Seems to be working well. So, tonight, it’s a big track try, but a very interesting spot in Trackmaster race. Listed Tetrick too! Trainer: Has been very good! Fit the Trackmaster by a half-point, so why not try the Big M? It won’t hurt.
6 ATOMIC BLAST N – I cannot stress how good his effort was last week! That was best race he’s gone in a LONG time. You can even add more points if Georgie won the opener a few mins ago. The post won’t help, but he can grind.
7 NIALL HANOVER – Been plying his trade on the smaller ovals lately. Showed up at The Hold against a much weaker bunch, you can see what he paid. Next to nothing, but he did win. Confidence builder? Maybe. Tough post here.
