Race 1

1              UKNOW WHAT TO DO – Moves into a new barn tonight and they’ve had some success in that category. But, for tonight’s wagering purposes, I will want to watch one. Especially off the sick scratch. Let’s see of he’s ready.

2              DIAL A CHIC – Also enters off a scratch, but for different reason. I’m not in love with that break last time. Had been sharp prior, so I wonder if the Chic is tailing off, or ready to bounce back? I guess we’ll find out.

3              ST JAMES GATE – His Philly form isn’t exactly impressive lately. Yes, the horse has won here before, but that’s when he was in the Burke Brigade. I’ll take a pass and see if he gets any better here. Usually packs one move.

4              CRAZYCAT – Bob K hasn’t had much luck here yet, but eventually it will come. It does appear this gelding could be rounding back into better form. Unsure of the pace scenario in here. Will try to time that one move right.

5              WINNERESS – Barn and pilot have been on a good roll lately in these GSY’s. I like this post for the gelding and Tony V. Horse is versatile. Exits decent try when outfought to the line by #10. Good effort from both. Will be in thick of it.

6              SCIROCCO PATRICK – Just hasn’t found a way to cross that line first lately. He’s also totally at mercy of pace and trip. I will use under, but probably not on top. Mark will try to grind him into the race and finish strong. Maybe.

7              CHIEF JUSTICE – I know he took a lot of tote action last week, but I figured he would need that race. I would suggest if you bet then, to give him another shot. Finished up with good trip and will benefit from that race. Has to be considered

8              INUKCHUK CHUCK – Tried to wire them down at The Hold. Didn’t work. That’s not going to work here either.

9              SHOEMAKER HANOVER – Was certainly within range last time to launch a big move, but offered only a minor kick. That’s just not good enough. With the switch to further outside post, he’s a pass for me tonight.

10           SWANCREDIT – Aims for three-in-a-row, but gets “assigned” post 10. That will test Melissa out! Usually, the horse is a slowish starter, but I don’t know if he can pass them all from last? That’s a tough task. And, at low odds?

Race 2

1              WIGGLE DELIGHT – I thought the Captain had her in a good spot last week, but it just didn’t work out late. Gets the pole position again, but against some key droppers. This isn’t going to get any easier and she will need more.

2              OUTLAWINTRIGUEDBYU – Finally gets a little break from the post gods, but she still has to be considered a longshot. I guess I’d be surprised if she jumped up and beat a field like this. Might need some class relief, eventually.

3              GETTIN GONE – The Pete P barn ships in full force this weekend, with a bunch of newcomers. I can’t guarantee this filly is a true “big track” horse, but we’ll find out soon enough. She was having issues with smaller ovals. Take a long look.

4              ESCAPE AGAIN – Didn’t impress me with the one try here. Did better down at Freehold with more speed on view. I’d like to see a good one here before I could endorse. Will just have to find more stamina.

5              GOTTALOVEMYSHADOW – The barn’s got two in and either one of them can win. This mare has an affinity for Club Med, so I’m surprised they raced her on halves. Tyler gets along with her great. Expect a big effort in this spot.

6              LOOKATMYART – That was some steamroll move she uncorked to win easily. A real standout performance. This looks to be a very successful recent claim. The post won’t matter. Can launch that one big move from anywhere. Tuf to beat.

7              VH PRINCESS BREA – Gets the much-needed class relief tonight, but not the post help. It’s been a while since we saw her in a claimer and I will be interesting to see if she goes home with new barn or not? A big factor with any good trip.
