Race 1
1 MAKE SWEET MAGIC – Off to an uneven start to her career. Had shown some promise, and then had a few clunkers. So, we probably have to take a pass here and wait for further improvement.
2 CANADIAN BULLET – Back and forth between here and Lexington and not much is working out. Another pass.
3 ALEXA’S FANTASY – Looks like the favorite, and the one to beat to me, off that impressive pocket rocket romp. She’s been good and consistent in just about every start. Drew good post. What’s not to like? Hard to leave off the ticket.
4 LADYZAR – Either she doesn’t like M1, or she just needs to step up her game a lot. Not sure which. Longshot.
5 ROCKNATION – Did you watch her very closely last week? You should have. I said she would come around sooner, if not later and she was very good finishing. That’s what I was looking for. Might be able to give the fave a real tussle.
6 TWIN B HIGH TECH – I’m not going to count out this lass either. She too the conservative route last time and outkicked several of them late. That should set her up for a positive performance here. Eligible longshot.
7 MIMADO – She hasn’t found her natural speed just yet, so she also looks like a longshot against this type.
8 ANNELIESE HANOVER – Drew bad post for second straight start. Hey, they hurt! She was used hard to get to the lead last time and got a touch tired late. Okay. What’s the plan tonight? She has to go forward early. Needs more stamina.
9 QUEEN SUN RYSER – Apparently, the word was out on her again last week and she was very flat. Now post nine.
10 SHOWMEMAGIC – Talk about the bad post blues! Look at her draws over last several start. Boo!! This isn’t going to help and she is clearly up against it.

Race 2
1 FINEST MOMENT – Owns two real starts so far down at Philly. Tried speed in one of them, so that shows some ability. I guess we just toss the eight hole beginning. Just needs to go a little faster. Eventually, that will come.
2 QUEBEC HANOVER – Tough call here, since he bounced back nicely after the initial miscue at Pocono. He’s got some serious pedigree, so you hope he will come around. Seeking a little “revenge” on #3 for that qualifier.
3 VOLUME EIGHT – Followed up his winning qualifier over #2 with a fairly decent first try in a real race. Starters from this barn tend to improve with experience. I would take a good, long look at this fella if the price is fair. Wide-open race.
4 CANDY BOMBER – Somebody has to be the longshot in here and this guy looks like it. Enters off a break.
5 MUNK – I had a feeling he would be raced that way in first real start. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out. So, I do wonder what Andy will want to do tonight. It could easily be back to the speed. He’s a little faster than most of these.
6 BATTLESHIP LANDING – Still a work in progress for Team B. I hate to see those breaks. He’s already been gelded. So, let’s see if any other changes are made for tonight. Take a look out on the track.
7 CHEF ROCCO – He’s AE1 for the final, so he has to settle for this spot instead. As stated last week, I am off the bandwagon here. He went to running for no apparent reason. I know he can be quick, but I’ll let him beat me.
