1 EMBLAZE HANOVER – Having a little trouble lately down at Philly, so the Burke Brigade opts to take a big track try. Why not? I can see this as a little bit of a drop. But horse will still need a more consistent effort to upset.
2 WALKNAFTER MIDNITE – Gets to drop again, so it’s getting to be now or never time. This is no easy spot with a few other droppers too! Owns good, reliable and versatile speed, so pilot will just have to make it easier. Your call?
3 BETTER TAKE IT – One of two for the Cullipher Crew. Dex was listed on four in here, by the way. You see which way he went. My knock on this guy is the missed time. That’s three weeks, folks. Maybe too much time. Let’s watch one.
4 DEALER’S TABLE – Been off since November, so that’s a big issue. That’s a long time. He may not be ready for this.
5 MY PAL JOE – I can only wonder what happened to Joe? He must have really gotten sick. Off since that disaster in early April. Nice home-based qualifier. But, in the past, he had needed a race or two. Tough to get very excited about.
6 BULLVILLE TERROR – Bouncing up and down the class ladder over at Pocono. I will remind everyone that he has raced here in the past. It’s a pretty wide-open race, and he enters off a good rally. Wouldn’t talk you off tossing on ticket.
7 CHIEFS BEACH – Didn’t make much of an impact when seen here earlier. Moved up to Tioga and did get one win. Then went way too fast on the lead. There isn’t a ton of speed in here, so we should expect a send. No easy spot.
8 STONEBRIDGE REEF – He’s come back okay so far this year. It’s usually all about pace and trip for him. I’m not in love with this post, but know that he can overcome it, if pilot works it out. Couldn’t reach last time he had post eight.
9 HAIL CHRISTIAN N – Suffered another tough loss when nailed at the wire last time. Another short price. Now, it’s back to the bad post blues and I don’t know what the plan will be. He might just have to blast out again.

1 BRICKHOUSE BABE – I know she hasn’t gotten lucky yet this season, but this looks like the perfect spot! Good post. Should be stalking in good spot. Has faced all the top stakes fillies. Must take advantage, but at probable low odds.
2 MISSY TRIX – Tough call here. She’s just a two-time winner, and mostly not at the stakes level. This is a decent bunch for this event, and she’s a medium longshot. Will have to have everything go her way.
3 CASH MACHINE GIRL – Gets a nice, big test tonight for Team Orange Crush. She’s quietly had a very good season, but not at the top stakes level. She’s faced, and beaten the boys too! So, let’s see if she can bounce back from that break.
4 MON CHEVAL – I’m really on the fence with her too! She is a two-time stakes winner this year, so that’s good! She caught a very tough Reynolds division here, and started from second tier, which she clearly didn’t like. Big chance.
5 PRIMADONNA DEO – We probably need to see a good, flat mile from her at night to give any consideration. Watch.
6 PENELOPE J – Gets stuck with another outside post tonight. At least it’s in a shorter field. She is capable of big speed at times, but doesn’t always finish it off. That’s the trick! She will need the total mile to beat these.
