Now that the end of the 2019 NFL regular season is over the league’s annual coaching purge is kicking into high gear. It actually started in October when Washington decided to fire Jay Gruden as its head coach. They’ve since hired Ron Rivera to take over the reins and, according to CBS Sports as many as six teams could be looking to name new head coaches as well. The question that looms the largest: Is it time for Jerry Jones to hit the panic button? For more on the NFL coaching changes since the end of the season click here.

Grinding Out The Profits
From this week’s Playbook Football Newsletter: The Cincinnati Bearcats are 3-11 ATS in bowl games since 2000, including 1-7 SUATS in games in which they allow more than 20 PPG. The have also been outgained in 8 of their thirteen contests this season. With 6-6 bowl teams (read: Boston College) standing 17-6 ATS against opponents coming off consecutive losses, look for the Eagles to soar in the Birmingham Bowl this afternoon.
