There’s jo place like home at newly minted 4-year-old April Mist (7-2) showed that in her return to Oldsmar 23 days ago for this young turf specislist.
Additionally, she’s back in the barn of Chad Stewart, who saddled her to victory on debut, Stewart taking the best of it with a $16,000 claiming tag then running off and hiding by nearly a dozen lengths.
She goes in today’s 9th race in an optional NX2 for her second recent start after her allowance victory at Remington then was an excellent second in her latest Tampa return.
