The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing


On the heels of a disastrous 2018 campaign, the PAC-12 is in need of a makeover, the likes of which no plastic surgeon stands a chance of changing the look of this plummeting Power-5 Conference. It was so bad that UCLA and USC each suffered a losing season in the same year for the first time since 1958. It was so bad that the PAC-12 has gone 7-15 SU and 3-19 ATS in bowl games the last three years … with only ONE WIN by more than 3 points. It was so bad that since the College Football Playoff was introduced, the Pac-12 has made two appearances going 1-2 and failed to appear in three of the five seasons, missing out each of the last two years. Sheesh.

On Today’s Scorecard

MLB – Washington: Strasburg 4-0 $ vs. Reds … LA Dodgers: Kershaw 1-4 $ vs. Marlins, and 1-4 $ last five away in August … Baltimore: Bundy 1-9 $ day games this season … Cleveland: Bieber 6-1 $ career in August, and 6-1 $ vs. AL Central this season … Oakland: Bailey 1-9 $ in August … St. Louis: Hudson 9-1 $ as a favorite this season.

Grinding Out The Profits

When the Cubs send former Phillies hurler Cole Hamels to the bump in Philadelphia tonight they will do so knowing the left-hander is 15-1 in his last sixteen team-starts in the month of August. He also owns a 2.13 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP in his last seven overall starts. You know what to do.
