GOING GULFSTREAM – APR 21

Today’s feature in Hallandale is a wide open turf route for three year old fillies going a mile and present an excellent opportunity for value–even if the 12-1 early line on Reconnecting likely will be unavailable.

Truth is, half that quote would still be excellent value on the Peter Walder last-out claim, who earned a layover figure last out.

After breaking maiden, the Florida-bred daughter of Connect was properly placed for repeat at the N2L level. Here she faces significantly tough at the $35K level in open company, hence the price.

She was very wide entering the stretch, suffering some momentum loss, then re-broke and was going very well at the finish. Edwin Gonzalez fits late turf runners very well and Walder is a very solid 20 percent first time off the claim.

Taking Reconnecting to win at 6-1 or greater and key boxing exactas with fast working Calling All Angels (3-1) and Always Royal (6-1) returning to her preferred surface.
