The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing


No entrant in today’s lineup has been improving at the rate Volcanic has been developing for Mark Casse.

In todays featured race on Tapeta Track at one mile 70 yards, his progression continues, most significantly, incrementally, an indication that the current form cycle will continue.

Purely and simply, the gelded four year old has been a different horse since making the switch from turf and dirt to the All Weather surface, winning three of his last four runs.

He returns with good spacing and Edwin Gonzalez has been a steady go-to pilot for this barn.

Taking Volcanic with no price restrictions and an exacta box with Brooklyn Strong, returning fresh for the Victor Barboza outfit whose barn has been one of the hottest on the grounds in recent weeks.
