The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

If you check the last race of Father Glado (9-2) , July 3, Race 7, entered in Friday’s fourth race, you’ll note he raced wide in dull performance on Tapeta Track, his first start off a 148-day layoff.

Looking like a useful prep for his main track debut, thE three year old never HAS regressed on performance figures in his career.

Of particular note is trainer Jose D’Angelo is 3-for-9 when switching from synthetic to dirt, and he names Sonny Leon here, who has won a race for the barn with two other money finishes from seven starters.

His most recent workout at Palm Meadows was 2nd fastest of 26 peers to work at the distance this last week and note, the clincher, he was scratched from a more difficult start last weekend in favor of this.

Taking Father Glado to win, no price restrictions, and recent Walder claim Ludington (4-1) and Horse for Course Klugman (5-2)
