Florida-bred stakes horses take center stage on Preakness Day in Hallandale and while the field with relatively short with seven runners, top contenders are not.

Dean Delivers is a deserving favorite based on current form and the considerable class relief he gets here, dropping out of open, graded company.
Peter Walder has Gangly back in top form and is on a roll himself, winning with two of his last four starts including a money finish.
However, it’s Horse for Course Starship Renegade who is most interesting to us based on a favorable post draw and dynamics and his laudable record here, winning four of seven starts with two placings.
