By Marc Lawrence — As the NFL heads into Week 2, key injuries are taking center stage. Tight end George Kittle’s sprained left knee is the latest injury to plague the San Francisco 49ers, while in New York, the loss of Le’Veon Bell means ageless Frank Gore will lead a company of running backs for the Jets. And the Saints will be without star WR Michael Thomas when they visit the Raiders in Las Vegas Monday night. In addition, the Steelers were missing five offensive linemen from Wednesday’s practice, but for the second week in a row, the most concerning absence is guard David DeCastro. Stefen Wisniewski, who started in place of DeCastro, left Monday night’s win with a pectoral injury. For an in-depth injury report on each of the NFL teams click here. |
