The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

GOING GULFSTREAM – MAY 18

Trainer Amador Sanchez appears to have today’s sixth race surrounded with two South American imports making their stateside debut.

There’s reason to be optimistic since Sanchez is a profitable 26% effective with shippers into the U.S. and each is making her first start in Hallandale getting Lasix for the first time and are training up a storm.

Practica Cat (9-2) appears to be the better of the two based on company lines in her native land.

The fact that Sanchez is profitable in four other applicable categories also points to the 4YO daughter of Practical Joke and he recent 3F blowout will have her on edge for this.

The clincher is jockey Jose Morelos’ success with unknown quantities, showing a $2.04 ROI lifetime in this role.

Taking Practica Cat to win, no price restrictions, and key-boxing her with mate Soy Una Dama (6-1) and a live Rachel’s Rock (5-2)/
