The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

A good opportunity for value in the finale from Oldsmar, a 5F turf sprint at the optional $32K, secondary allowance level.

Bohemian Boy is a worthy 5-2 favorite and make no mistake, the will be a tough out. Overmatched in last at Gulfstream, he won at this level previously in his Tampa turf debut, making him a strong rebound play.

Antonio Gallardo rides for Mark Casse.

Rainbow’s Pride (8-1) meanwhile made a very promising turf sprint debut, battling on a strong pace throughout but understandably tired late, beaten one length by today’s favorite.

It was a live race in which the place finisher returned to win his next start. Given recovery time, he’s been training well locally for Tim Hamm. Angel Arroyo gets the re-ride.

Taking Rainbow’s Pride to win at 5-1 or greater and an exacta box with Bohemian Boy.
