A notice of meeting posted Friday by New York’s Franchise Oversight Board indicates the New York Islanders will get final approval to build an Arena at Belmont Park on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at 4:00 p.m.
The meeting will be held in Room 131 of the State Capitol in Albany, NY, or it can be viewed at http://www.budget.ny.gov
HRI sources say groundbreaking will begin on Thursday, August 15.
