HALLANDALE BEACH, FL, April 10, 2026 — As the HRI Faithful realizes, turf racing is out favorite handicapping puzzle and if the race is run in Lexington, so much the better.
And of all those parameters, the G1 Jenny Wiley is high on our list for the results of editions past and, hopefully, for tomorrow’s mile and a sixteenth that has drawn 10 older grass mares.
The usual turf mavens are taking their chances here, what with Brendan Walsh, Chad Brown and Brad Cox, among other notables, who have entered the fray, in search of the lion’s share of the $650,000 bonanza.
An open scramble, one can makes a worthy case for a half dozen. We’ve done the work and have settled on two top choices, and possibly a third, with exotics fillers lined up right behind. Here, then, the A-B-Cs of it:

A: 7-Lush Lips (5-2) made an excellent four-year-old debut prepping for this, making a small incremental forward move as she continues picture perfect development for Brendan Walsh, Tyler riding her like he owns her. She loves the game (12) 6-4-0, is (4) 2-2-0 at the trip and 1-for-1 on this course. Sharp half mile for this around the dos APR 4.10-Segesta (7-2) got really good at the end of her four-year-old season in which she drew out at the nd of Del Mar’s G1 Matriarch. She makes here five-year-old debut for the Chad/Prat team and will be wound tightly given the stakes involved. She’s been working bullets at her Payson Park base since FEB 2, including a very sharp half-mile blowout for this.

G3 LEXINGTON STAKES Race 10
A; 10-Confessional (7-2), meeting better of late, was under pressure throughout his last to maintain forward position while racing wide, Cox is 4-6-1 for his last dozen starters through Thursday, strong 5F in 1:00 4/5 recently, fourth best of 29 peers that week, is happy to return to Keeneland and get switch to Irad—(4) 2-1-1 for this outfit recently.
