MYSTIC GUIDE SURGERY

According to today’s edition of Thoroughbred Daily News, Mystic Guide will have “straightforward and uncomplicated” surgery to remove a knee chip. World-renown surgeon Dr. Larry Bramlage of Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital will perform the surgery.

Said trainer Mike Stidham: “Expectations for the Suburban were high, so with his second place finish, we felt that we should take some precautionary X-Rays. We then followed up with a PET Scan which revealed the chip.”

Godolphin President Jimmy Bell told the TDN: “Mystic Guide could not be in better hands with Dr. Bramlage.”
