By Marc Lawrence — LeBron James is in his 18th season in the NBA. After the Cavs missed the playoffs in his first two seasons, King James has reached the postseason 15 of the last 16 years. His teams in Cleveland, Miami and now Los Angeles have gone 17-0 in first-round series with James on the roster, 12-3 in second-round series and 11-1 in the conference-final round.
He’s averaged 28.8 points, 9 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game during the postseason. Most important he’s NEVER missed any of his team’s 261 playoff games, while winning four MVP’s in the playoffs.
Perhaps just as important, James’ teams are 34-17 SU and 38-13 ATS during the conference postseason when facing a higher seed, including 18-3 ATS as a dog of more than 2 points.
It’s time we bend the knee.
