New York Governor Andrew Cuomo will be in town Monday to announce the new Long Island Rail Road station that will be built on the main line with east and west access to accommodate the new Islanders Arena at Belmont Park.
Expect an announcement soon with the approvals of the Final Environment Impact Statement, the Empire State Development Corporation, the Franchise Oversight Board and the Public Access Control Board to follow in quick succession. New York Arena Partners should put shovels to the ground this month.
