Wednesday’s fourth race drew a field of seven but don’t assume it will be boring or easy to cash in. There’s lots going on.
The favorite Mesaoria (5-2 is good. Obviously beset with issues, the four year old has raced but four times–two this year, two last–and each time her Thoro-Graph figures improved, pairing her last two.
Now she goes turf to synth for Graham Motion, who is 21% effective given that scenario and with first-synth runners overall. She gets added distance and Rosario today, which never hurts.
Males of interest are Timo (7-2) having synth experience and having gone beyond this trip last out. His figures match the filly’s and Jonathan Thomas, 29% effective on synthetic surfaces, reaches out for Irad.
Ordinarily we don’t chase horses that move out of Chad Brown’s shedrow but this one was claimed by Mike Maker last out, has a great synth pedigree with Frankel at a very lofty 23%,
Tyler G has won with two of his last five rides for this outfit, he’s been the distance or more–twice–and ran fast enough this summer to handle this group and for a man that’s also 23% over this type of footing. Most Wanted Man (9-2) might fall through the parimutuel cracks with this group.
However, we will take the Timo to win at 5-2 or greater, and key-box exactas with his rivals listed above.
