By Marc Lawrence — Andy Iskoe of TheLogicalApproach.com shared these final numbers from the 2019 College Bowl season: The SEC was an outstanding conference this Bowl season, going 8-2 SU and winning the National Title. But the SEC was just 5-5 ATS. The Mountain West fared best ATS, going 5-2. Only one other conference – the MAC – was more than 1 game over .500 ATS, going 4-2-1. The MAC had been a horrible conference in Bowl games over the past half decade so going 3-4 SU was a nice improvement. The worst performing conference SU was by far the Big 12 at 1-5 SU. The ACC also performed poorly going 4-7 SU including Clemson’s National Title game loss. The ACC was also 4-7 ATS, tied with the Sun Belt at 3 games below .500 as the Sun Belt, 3-2 SU, was just 1-4 ATS. The 40 games produced an identical 20 OVERs and 20 UNDERs with no pushes. The most extreme Totals results were fashioned by the Big 12 whose 6 Bowl teams were involved in 5 UNDERs and just 1 OVER which followed up last Bowl season in which the Big 12 played 6 UNDERs and 1 OVER for a 2 season Bowl mark of 11 UNDERs and just 2 OVERs. No other conference was more than 2 games above or below even. Nice job, Andy. Hoops History Book Phoenix: 3-0 SUATS vs. Knicks … Milwaukee: 4-1 SUATS vs. Celtics … LA Clippers: 11-0 SU and 8-3 ATS vs. Magic … Cincinnati: 6-0 SU vs. Tigers … LA Tech: 4-0 SUATS home vs. Owls. Grinding Out The Profits When Colorado beat Arizona State, 81-71, at home on the opening day of the season in November it set the table for tonight. That’s because the host team is 10-1-1 ATS in this series. The fact that the Sun Devils are 4-0 SUATS at home with revenge in this series seals the deal. With the invading herd nice and fat following a 39-point win over Utah, our pitchforks are sharpened and ready for Colorado’s invasion tonight. |
