1 INCREDIBLE SHARK – The Shark gets his favorite pilot back tonight and hopefully, he talked him up “In The Sulky” earlier! He’s always a huge threat with Tim on a drop like this, and I would have a tough time leaving off the ticket.
2 ITALIAN DELIGHT N – I’m back on the fence with Delight right now. Todd took a real shot with him last week, rushing to the front and almost lasting. That was good step back in the right direction. Would love the trip stalking Shark.
3 JESSE DUKE N – Certainly couldn’t talk you off Jesse here! That was a fine comebacker here at the Med. Just forget about the YR race. This is where he belongs, and this is the right spot! But, he will need a good journey, not tough one.
4 BILLY BADGER N – The Badger also unleased a decent comebacker! Came charging home to just miss behind Stonedust. He could step forward off that, but I think he’s running into a better bunch here. Loses Dexter. Your call?
5 BECHERS BROOK A – Feels like it’s been a LONG time since Becher won a race, and I honestly don’t see him beating his stablemate on the rail. Would need exactly the right kind of trip and one bigger burst. Not likely.
6 LIKE CLOCKWORK – Turns in a good one every now and then, and this looks like a tough spot, even though he’s dropping. Didn’t really make any moves last week, so I wonder if change of plans is coming? That’s a maybe.
7 HEZA REAL DIAMOND – No, I did not get the memo on this one last Saturday in that impossible race with nine class droppers. But, somebody did! The tote board really told the tale and Joe B drove like he was 1-5! Congrats on the win.
8 PERSIMMON A – Very tough race here, and it seems easy enough to toss the class hiker. Post kills too!
9 FOREVERNALWAYS – Trying to find the right class level and I’m not sure this is it. That was a better effort last week against the weaker bunch. This will be a lot harder and he will have to do it without Dexter. I will pass in pp nine.

1 TORONTO – Finished up his debut race with a sizzling final sixteenth. I saw that! But, so did everybody else. So, I do wonder what the price will be tonight. On the rail again, so he should be able to stick a little closer. Watch out now!
2 STRAIGHT TALK – Yes, the Burke Brigade has THREE of them in here and that’s not ideal for anybody. Of the trio, I thought this one qualified best. Had dull cover, and a good, strong finish. That’s what you’re looking for, folks!
3 WHOLE LOTTA LOU – Showed some ability last year at two, with just a pair of starts. They put him away to grow up. Came back with better speed in the second qualifier. Will need a bit more stamina, but likely won’t set pace here.
4 EMBLAZE HANOVER – Had things his own way in that qualifier and folded up shop when One Eight Hundred came calling. Tells me he might need another start or two before we see best? I’ll go with that, and watch him beat me.
5 FULSOME – Decent kick towards the end of his only qualifier. Seems like his two stablemates are a bit more advanced. I will be watching closely, for future evaluation.
6 GRETZKY – K Mac told us last week that he wanted another qualifier into this one, and they were prepping for a series at Pocono. Colt raced like that. He needed that experience, and tightener. Could go a little more forward now. Trainer: We were very happy with him last week. Got a lot out of that race and should be ready to roll tonight.
7 AQUAMAN HANOVER – Ordinarily, it’s very dangerous to ignore this outfit with a comebacker like this. Dex had to wrestle this guy back in the qualifier and he passed a few late. I’m hoping he needs one more. We’ll see. Dex sticks.
