MILLION DOLLAR BABY

The Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Selected Yearlings Sale opened Monday and a total of 61 yearlings were sold for a gross of $22,775,000. The average of $373,361 was up 7%  evening.

West Point Thoroughbreds spent $1 million for a son of Tapit, Scott Heider paid $950,000 for a Tapit filly and a filly by Medaglia d’Oro went for $900,000 to a partnership including George Bolton and Sheila Rosenblum.

Bidding commences tonight at 6:30 p.m for the final session.
