RANK BY RUNS

By Marc Lawrence, PlaybokSports.com — Texas’ run differential is at +131 through 55 games, putting them on pace for +386 – second only to the 1939 Yankees (+411) for the best mark in MLB’s modern era (since 1900).

The other side: As good as the Rangers have been, the A’s have been even worse. Oakland’s -195 run differential through 58 games puts them on pace for -545, which would shatter the record set by the 1932 Red Sox (-349).
