A NEW NFL 2-MINUTE DRILL

Nate Davis of the USA TODAY looks back at last week in the NFL as he notes: The Raiders, Browns, Titans and Buccaneers all flipped the script with game-winning points inside the final two minutes. The Dolphins, Packers and Bears each staged defensive stands with their respective opponents driving for potential go-ahead scores at the end of regulation. The one-win Falcons drilled the one-loss Saints … in New Orleans … And let’s not forget Baltimore QB Lamar Jackson who posted a perfect 158.3 passer rating for the second time this season, making him only the second player (Ben Roethlisberger, 2007) to do it twice in one year … On the opposite side of the coin, NY Giants star RB Saquon Barkley was limited to a career-worst 1-yard on the ground despite 13 carries – meaning he averaged fewer than 3 inches per carry.

Miami: 5-1 $ vs. Cavaliers … Milwaukee: 5-1 $ vs. Bulls … Atlanta: 2-14-2 $ off SUATS win when facing the Suns … Denver: 1-9 $ off SUATS loss when facing the Nets.

Under The Thursday Night Lights

From this week’s PLAYBOOK Totals Tipsheet Newsletter: The Steelers are 1-10-1 UNDER in their last twelve division road games … The Browns are 0-5 UNDER on Thursdays and 1-8 UNDER at home off a home game. That being the case, the Totals Tipsheet hopes you fully “understand” the situation at hand tonight.
