Reports have it that just as the committee does when making its selection, a line has to been drawn somewhere on teams that are on the NCAA Tournament bubble. No matter where that line is drawn, the first team just outside that boundary is going to have a really good story to tell. Here are two teams you’re not seeing in the mock brackets that make some valid points as to why they should at least be considered: Tulsa. The mock brackets have no problem making room in the projected field for Houston. Yet it’s the Golden Hurricane leading the Cougars in the American race and not the other way around. In fact, with a win at Wichita State, Frank Haith’s team will reign supreme as the outright American champion … Saint Louis. Last seen recording consecutive road wins by double-digit margins at Rhode Island and George Mason, the Billikens have zero Tulsa-type NET issues. Travis Ford’s team is actually above such Bubble Watch mainstays as NC State, South Carolina and Memphis.
