Lakers was the biggest move in the NBA offseason, then think again. CBS Sports reports that Tuesday night against Memphis, Davis had a 40-point, 20-rebound performance, which is rare in the NBA. And to make it more impressive, Davis did it in just three quarters on only 17 shot attempts. He went 7-of-17 from the field, but knocked down an astounding 26-of-27 free throws. Wow. Grinding Out The Profits When the Mountaineers of Appalachian State put their undefeated record on the line tonight against Georgia Southern they will do so knowing that double-digit Sun Belt favorites are just 8-12-1 ATS on Thursdays, including 0-4-1 ATS with an .800 or great win percentage. When the Mountaineers of West Virginia battle undefeated Baylor this evening they will do so knowing that the Bears are 0-7 ATS off a SU road dog win. Just sayin’. |
