NFL: WHAT WE’VE LEARNED

Nate Davis of the USA TODAY shares a weekly take on the 32 Things We Learned in the NFL. Some observations from Week One include: Baltimore’s Lamar Jackson emerged with a Perfect Passer rating (158.3) against Miami’s pedestrian defense when he was 17-for-20 for 324 yards and 5 TDs … it was a case of bad “Luck” for Colts PK Adam Vinatieri, when he missed two FGs and a PAT against the Chargers in probably the worst performance of his career … Vikings QB Kirk Cousins set career lows for pass attempts (10), completions (8) and yards (98) as a starter, but his team rolled over Atlanta 28-12 despite being outgained 345-269.
