NFL: ALL ABOUT TURNOVERS

The Arizona Cardinals suffered an NFC-high 9 double-digit losses and were one of only 2 NFL teams without a wire-to-wire win last year. It’s no wonder they were -12 in net turnovers in 2018 regular season … The Los Angeles Rams had 7 double-digit, and 6 wire-to-wire, regular-season wins last season. They will face 4 opponents coming off a Monday night game this season, and were +11 in net turnovers in 2018 regular season … San Francisco has gone ‘under’ their regular-season win total 4 of the last 5 years. The Niners were a whopping -25 in net turnovers in 2018 regular season … Seattle was one of only 3 NFL teams without a double-digit loss last year. The Seahawks were +15 in net turnovers in 2018 regular season.

2-Minute CFB Handicap

CFB – Texas A&M: 21-1 SU in Game Two of the season … Central Michigan: 7-1 $ as dogs 17 or more points, Wisconsin: 1-5 $ as favorites 17 or more points … Alabama: 1-10 $ as favorites 37 or more points.

Bombs Away

From our friends at Axios Sports: before falling to the Rangers 7-0 Monday night, the Yankees had gone 220 straight games without failing to score – the second-longest no-shutout streak in MLB history, trailing only the Babe Ruth-led Yankees of 1931-33 (308 games). FYI: In between the Bronx Bombers’ last two shutouts (July 1, 2018–yesterday), the Marlins were shutout a whopping 28 times.
