The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

By Marc Lawrence — History suggests that the 49ers’ road back to the Super Bowl may be daunting. Only five teams in NFL history – the 1972 Dolphins, the 1991-93 Bills and the 2018 Patriots – have returned to the Super Bowl the year after losing the Big Game. And out of those teams, only the ’72 Dolphins and ’18 Patriots were able to hoist the Lombardi Trophy a year after being on the short end of the Super Bowl scoreboard. Check out a list of the past 10 Super Bowl losers and how they fared the following season here.

Grinding Out The Profits
The Harvard-Yale rivalry is referred to as the Big Game on the gridiron. On the hardwood it has also become the Big Game with both teams battling annually for superiority in the Ivy League. Last season Harvard beat Yale in both of its regular season showdown but lost to Bulldogs in the Ivy League Playoff. Harvard is 6-0 ATS in its last six Ivy contests when seeking revenge and they’ve gone 7-1 SU and 8-0 ATS at Yale the last eight years. No Ivy degree needed here. Just a love of the vine and history will do.
