By Marc Lawrence — History suggests that the 49ers’ road back to the Super Bowl may be daunting. The Harvard-Yale rivalry is referred to as the Big Game on the gridiron. On the hardwood it has also become the Big Game with both teams battling annually for superiority in the Ivy League. Last season Harvard beat Yale in both of its regular season showdown but lost to Bulldogs in the Ivy League Playoff. Harvard is 6-0 ATS in its last six Ivy contests when seeking revenge and they’ve gone 7-1 SU and 8-0 ATS at Yale the last eight years. No Ivy degree needed here. Just a love of the vine and history will do. |
