It’s important to remember the first-round series are best of three, with the higher seed hosting all games and no days off between games. The teams are not reseeded as the playoffs progress. That means the No. 1 seed will play either the No. 4 or No. 5 seed in the second round while the No. 2 seed will face the No. 3 or No. 6 seed. The second-round playoff series are best of five, with each team getting a chance to host games. Both the championship series and World Series are best of seven. Now, it’s time to ”Play Ball!”
