Mitole’s Forego score moved him into fourth overall in the poll. Reigning champion turf female Sistercharlie is fifth.
Three-year-olds Maximum Security and Travers winner Code of Honor made the cut, checking in ninth and 10th, respectively. It was the first time this year Code of Honor has been listed in the poll open to all divisions and sexes.
The one that will matter most, of course, is the one conducted NOV. 4, the Monday after the Breeders’ Cup championships.
