Nine fillies and mares have drawn into Saturday’s feature in Oldsmar, a competitive lot sprinting seven furlongs on Tampa’s main track and what an open event it is.
It has everything; speed; middle-movers and late runners; the home team and the shippers; layups and on-schedule types.
Given those parameters, we’re opting for an adaptable running style that is proven at the distance, competitively classy company lines and the look of a filly pointed to this. Heiressall (5-2) fits those parameters.
And to that, a barn, Teresa Pompay’s, that’s profitable with their shippers, and a worthy 28% profitable in LAY-2 situations with a string of bullet works and a switch to Antonio Gallardo and you have a recipe for success.
As to the mare’s adaptability, check out her effort on the Tampa Today video at GULFSTREAM PARK, at today’s trip, on SEP 6, RACE 8, and see for yourselves.
We’re taking Heiressall to win at 2-1 or greater, an exacta box with Tiz Possible Dear, and completing a cold trifecta with price shot Ceci Valentina (8-1).

Tough race. Seems five plodders could win it. Will go with Independent Miss to win. What’s the odds of winning a cold trifecta? Gotta be long odds. Still trying to figure out how to ‘cap a plater to run second.
