Projected Derby Finish:
#1 Known Agenda showed that he owns a powerful late kick in his fourth start when he made up 8-1/4 lengths to finish fifth. Trainer Todd Pletcher added blinkers for the colt’s next two races and he responded spectacularly, staying closer to the pace in both outings before exploding through the stretch to win easily with Irad Ortiz Jr. Look for this scenario to play out again for his third straight victory.
#15 Every time Rock Your World stretches out he increases his margin of victory. He needs to be on or near the lead to accomplish this. Unfortunately he likely will have plenty of company up front which could take away his staying power.
#14 Essential Quality is going for six straight wins but he will be against it as this is the deepest field he’s ever competed against.
#20 The projected contested pace fits Bourbonic’s closing kick perfectly.
