Pass Efficiency Trumps Rush Efficiency. |
SB Nation contends that the NFL Divisional Round of the playoffs should be a heady balance of run and pass – but the air attack will still rule. This despite the fact that two former MVP QBs are coming off an injury (Patrick Mahomes) or a recent slump (Aaron Rodgers). Yet two other signal callers figure to be a yet to be crowned MVP (Lamar Jackson) or a rising young player that went 13-3 this season (Jimmy Garoppolo). But seven of the eight remaining teams rank among the NFL’s top eleven teams in pass efficiency – sans Houston. Hence, this year’s playoff bracket is loaded with quarterbacks who can deliver.
