By Marc Lawrence, PlaybookSports.com — Pro Football Focus, one of the nation’s leading sources for grading NFL information released its final grades on this year’s draft and, unlike Sports Illustrated, they labeled 5 teams with top-rated “A+” grades, including: Arizona, Indianapolis, NY Giants, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh.
“A” grades were awarded to: Buffalo, Cincinnati, Seattle, and Tennessee.
“A-” grades were earned by: Cleveland, LA Chargers, LA Rams, New England, and Tampa Bay.
Indianapolis, Philadelphia, Seattle, and Steelers each earned ‘A’ marks from both Pro Football Focus and Sports illustrated.
How We Fared
After the final dust settled, the 2023 PLAYBOK NFL Mock Draft scored on 25 of its 31 picks in the first round – moving our overall mark to 193 of the 254 – 76% – players selected in the opening round the last eight years.
Interestingly, we were good on 25 of the first 26 picks until we petered out going 0-for-5 to conclude the round.
Grinding Out The Profits
The Philadelphia 76ers are 0-10 SU and 2-8 ATS in Game One in the second round of an NBA playoff series, including 0-8 SUATS when playing with 3 or more days of rest.
Boston is 9-1 SU and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 playoff games against the 76ers.
