By Marc Lawrence, PlaybookSports.com — So the question of the day is can John Harbaugh dust himself off and get back in the race after taking it on the chops successive weeks to conclude the preseason? Don’t doubt it for a minute. First of all both losses were nailbiters that could have gone either way in the final seconds of the game. And yes, Harbaugh gave 37-year-old journeyman Josh Johnson every chance to make the roster when he plugged him into three games, twice as a starter. Johnson went 24-for-33 for 284 yards and 4 TDs and beat out undrafted QB Anthony Brown for the QB3 spot on the roster. Don’t look for the Black Birds to languish in the loss column very long. Harbaugh opens the season at home against Houston knowing he is 7-1 ATS at home in season openers.
