HERE’S JOHNNIES

By Marc Lawrence — St. John’s will look to avenge a loss in last year’s Big East tourney to Marquette tonight knowing they are 6-0-1 ATS in this series when seeking payback. With the Golden Eagles just 2-7 ATS at home against foes playing with LTKO (League Tourney Knock Out) revenge from last season, we’ll take the points in this sweet spot.

King Cane

Houston graduate transfer quarterback D’Eriq King has committed to Miami. The soon-to-be fifth-year senior considered multiple Power 5 conference programs in his swift process, including Arkansas, LSU and Maryland. He joins a Miami team that has three underclassmen at quarterback. The Hurricanes also have a new offensive coordinator, Rhett Lashlee, who spent last season at SMU, where the Mustangs were seventh in the FBS in scoring offense. In his Houston career, King accounted for more than 7,000 yards across multiple positions, including nearly 5,000 passing. He’ll be a most welcome addition to the offensively challenged Hurricanes. Read more here.
