Skinned Alive “After having dragged Dwayne Haskins into their never-ending cycle of dysfunction, and now that they’ve shoved Jay Gruden into a volcano, the pattern of smears continues with the Washington Redskins.” That is how Deadspin.com put the firing of Gruden into perspective and I couldn’t agree more. Gruden’s demise started when he vocally preferred a more experienced college quarterback in this year’s NFL Draft – read: Daniel Jones – but was overruled by the most incompetent owner in the history of the NFL, Daniel Snyder, and opted for Haskins instead. When Gruden started backup QB Colt McCoy over Haskins on Sunday it spoke volumes. And it spelled the end of his 5-plus year career in Landover. Poor Haskins. It’s not his fault he’s employed by the carcinogen that’s caused a deadly Skin cancer outbreak in Washington.
