When these reinvigorated home teams take the field off a win with a week of rest in Game Four of the season, they are a super-strong 98-66-2 ATS overall since 1980. South Alabama finds itself in this desirable role on Saturday.
Digging deeper, when these same teams are seeking revenge against a division opponent they improve to 34-9 ATS, including 22-4 ATS versus .600 or greater opponents – which is all good news for the Jaguars this week.
