PLAY A GAME OF LEAP FROG

By Marc Lawrence — If you’re interested in grinding out a profit today, consider this: After starting the season on a 9-1 winning note, Texas has hit a wall losing 6 of its last 9 games entering tonight’s a Big 12 battle at TCU. Making matters worse, the Longhorns beat the top-seeded Horned Frogs 58-44 in the finals of last year’s Big 12 tourney. With Bevo 0-7 SU and 1-6 ATS on this court when the Frogs have a revenge chip on their shoulder, look for TCU to hop past Texas tonight.

Of course, Stram’s play call is far more recognizable because he made it while wearing an NFL Films microphone, the first time a coach had been mic’d up … The 49ers had three players (Raheem Mostert, Matt Breida, Tevin Coleman) rush for at least 500 yards in the regular season. The Chiefs had none … The last two NFC Super Bowl coaches, Shanahan and the Rams’ Sean McVay, were assistants together on the Redskins staff from 2010 to 2013. Matt LaFleur was also on that staff…
