CAN TAR HEELS MISS NCAAs?

By Marc Lawrence — North Carolina head coach Roy Williams was quite hard on himself. According to Sports Illustrated, Williams was heard saying “Gotta tell (AD) Bubba Cunningham he should probably fire me, it probably wouldn’t be a bad idea.” It all came on the heels of UNC’s first home loss to Clemson in 59 years last Sunday where the Tigers had never won. The Tar Heels have lost seven of their last nine games. 8-8 North Carolina has been decimated by injuries this season and lost three first round picks to the NBA draft. They are in danger of missing their first NCAA Tournament since 2009-10.

The Milwaukee Bucks are the first team since the 1983-84 San Antonio Spurs to score at least 100 points in each of their first 41 games of a season. They’ve also scored 100-plus points in each of their last 65 regular season games, the second-longest streak in the NBA in the last 30 seasons.
