The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

Interesting finale today in Oldsmar that may present an opportunity for value, fair odds at the least.

The most probable winner on the card is Chad Brown returnee Walley World (7-5), also most probable odds-on ante-post.

Cadencia (2-1) Is the projected winner of the ninth, also favored, but more likely to offer fair odds at post time.

Trained by Bill Morey a worthy (23) 5-4-3 slate at the meet, Cadencia exits a key New York sprint that produced two next out winners and is training well for this capable layup outfit.

Her 47 4/5 breeze the week of FEB 1 was second fastest of 83 workers at the distance. Morey is 21% efficient with layups of 90+ days and Samy Camacho is 17% lifetime on the turf.

Taking Cadencia to win, no price restrictions, and key-boxing Mary Lightner’s Sol Hop (3-1), 7-for-21 lifetime on grass with Antonio Gallardo, on a recent 5-19 tear through Wednesday, and returning Horse for Course [(7) 4-2-0], price shot Tracy Ann’s Legacy (10-1).
