The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

What today’s feature in Hallandale lacks in field size it more than makes up for hit in potential overlays. We believe that Eddie and Laurie Plesa’s Oh Darlin (8-1) is one those fillies.

Having her speed blunted in an attempt to go long in a Florida-bred stakes two back, her cause was not helped last time when she ran back on 12 days rest after that enervating run.

And a good one it was, finishing second to a nice Army Mule prospect. Check it out and see if you agree: Gulfstream Park, NOV 19, Race 7.

She doesn’t compete with some of her rivals here on the Thor-Graph scale but there are reasons, to believe she ready for a career best in this spot.

Another positive is the switch to Paco and they break from the side. Expecting good trip assuming a clean break.

Taking Oh Darlin to win at 4-1 or greater and key-boxing exactas with Clay Soldier (4-1) and Hoax (5-2) Will use Alternate Rock (3-1) in trifecta mix.
