By Laurel Park Press Staff – In addition to a 10-race card featuring full fields and five contests over its world-class turf course, Laurel Park will have a carryover jackpot of $18,132.97 in the 20-cent Rainbow 6 for its Saturday, May 30 program.
The popular multi-race wager went unsolved during the last live program in Maryland March 15 at Laurel Park. First race post time Saturday is 12:40 p.m.
Saturday’s Rainbow 6 sequence spans Races 5-10 and is kicked off with a waiver maiden claiming event for 3-year-olds and up sprinting 5 ½ furlongs on the main track that drew a field of 16 including four also-eligibles.
Races 6, 8 and 10 are scheduled for the Dahlia and All Along turf course layouts, attracting a total of 47 horses including alternates main-track-only entries. The feature comes in Race 8, a $47,000 third-level optional claiming allowance for fillies and mares 3 and up at 5 ½ furlongs on the All Along, where Miss Auramet is the 2-1 program favorite to extend her win streak to four races.
