The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

Sunday’s seventh race at Tampa is a perfect example of taking what is given and hopefully Beantown Baby (3-2) will prove to be the key to the Late Pick 4 and top your verticals of choice.

Zero-for-four on dirt but 2-for-2 recently since switching to turf. Both turf wins sprinting, her latest on this course, at this trip. Owns a wide edge on the Thoro-Graph scale. Goes first time for Delacour/Centeno team; an added plus. Excellent spacing as she’s 71-days fresh.

Best of all, she is dominating her rivals and today’s class rise is a sign of confidence. Check out the Tampa Bay Today Video on the homepage, RACE 10 on JAN 11. Never saved an inch of ground, normally so critical on the grass. On paper, she appears unbeatable.

If the price is too prohibitive, we will look hard at the vertical pools. Horses of interest are fast working Tracy Ann’s Legacy (7-2) and Lil Hooh’s Hooh (30-1), who rates to improve on the turn-back.
